PowerSchool Parent Portal

The PowerSchool Parent Portal offers secure, private access to your student's school information, including:
  • State Assessment Score Reports
  • Forms to review and update student health, emergency contacts, etc.
  • Schedules
  • Assignment grades (middle school)
  • Attendance (middle school)
 
One account gives you access to all of your students in LGUSD. 
You can download the PowerSchool Parent Portal app on your device. Search for "PowerSchool Parent Portal" on the App Store or Google Play and click download. 

Follow these instructions if you do not have an existing account or you would like to create a new account (i.e. for a second parent/guardian). If you did not receive your student's Access ID and Access Password, please contact your school front office.

  1. Go to: https://lgusd.powerschool.com/public/   

  2. Click on ‘Create Account’

  3. Enter your name, email address, desired username/password (we recommend using your email address for the username)
  4. Link your student(s)
 to your account using the information you received with your student's Access ID and Access Password
If you have more than one student attending LGUSD, you can add these students to your account.
  1. After signing in to the web portal, click Account Preferences on the left menu
  2. Under Account Preferences, click on the Students tab
  3. Now click on the Add + button and follow the necessary steps
  1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at https://lgusd.powerschool.com
    (if you forgot your Username and/or Password, please click the ‘Forgot Username or Password?’ link and follow the instructions; if you are still unable to access the Portal, please contact the school front office)
  2. Select 'Score Reports' icon in the menu on the left
  3. Click the ‘Assessment’ drop-down to choose the desired assessment, select the desired year from the ‘Year’ drop-down, and then click ‘Get Report’. Make sure you select the correct year or it will give you an error.
  4. If the assessment results exist, details will appear below; click ‘View’ to open the report in a new tab. Please note reports are provided by the state. A list of all available score reports will be displayed for multiple school years.
  5. If accessing the report from Chrome Web Browser, click the ‘Download’ icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window to download a PDF copy of the report for your records.
Note: Schedules will not be available until just before school starts.
  1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at https://lgusd.powerschool.com
    (if you forgot your Username and/or Password, please click the ‘Forgot Username or Password?’ link and follow the instructions; if you are still unable to access the Portal, please contact the school front office)
  2. Click on "My Schedule"
  3. View by Week or Matrix view
