Water Lead Testing

On October 13, 2017 the Governor of California signed Assembly Bill 746 into law requiring all school sites constructed before January 1, 2010 to test for lead in the site's potable water system on or before July 1, 2019.

 

In December 2017 San Jose Water Company took water samples from all the District's school sites in accordance with AB 746. The samples were then sent by SJWC to an independent lab for testing. On December 28, 2017 the District received the lab results.

 

The test results showed that all of the District school sites showed no detectable levels of lead in their potable water system. Attached is a summary of the results of the samples taking by San Jose Water Company.
