Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC)
Overview
The Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee is tasked with overseeing bond finances to ensure the public that funds are being used appropriately. The committee is composed of seven community members, and cannot include any District employees, vendors, or contractors. The members represent a range of groups in the Los Gatos community, including businesses, senior citizens, parents, parent teacher organizations, taxpayer associations, and the general public.
The Committee’s duties include reviewing independent audit reports, inspecting District facilities to verify proper use of funds, evaluating proposals or plans for deferred maintenance, and reviewing the District's efforts to maximize bond revenues through cost-saving initiatives.
