“Send a Message: Stay Healthy!”

2019 Red Ribbon Week is a CASA-sponsored, national campaign against substance abuse that promotes healthy lifestyle choices in youth. In solidarity, our town and school is decorated in red.

Students will receive a Red Ribbon Week wristband to wear to our community sponsors for discounts and giveaways throughout the week. We appreciate these businesses for supporting our students! Also, Blossom Hill Elementary encourages fun, daily dress-up themes for this week:

Monday, 10/21 is “Red Ribbon Kickoff” Wear Red! 

• Vitality Bowls: $1 off a smoothie and $2 off a bowl.
• Juice Co LG: 10% off any juice.

Tuesday, 10/22 is “Team Up Together Tuesday” Wear sports gear to support your favorite team or wear active clothes. No cleats.

• Vitality Bowls: $1 off a smoothie and $2 off a bowl.
• Juice Co LG: 10% off any juice.

Wednesday, 10/23 is “National Unity Day!” Wear orange to help support National Unity Day and support a world where kindness, acceptance and inclusion are shown to all. 

• Pizza My Heart Los Gatos: A free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza.

Thursday, 10/24 is ”Express Yourself Thursday!” Crazy hair day and mismatched socks - Please do not bring hair dye to school. All hair should be done at home.

Friday, 10/25 is “Follow Your Dreams Friday!” Wear pajamas!

At the elementary school level, much of the focus is on promoting healthy choices to act as a protective factor against substance abuse.
