Family:

I moved with my wife, Ann, to Los Gatos 18 years ago because of the great community, and have loved raising our two daughters here.  My oldest daughter is at LGHS, while my younger daughter is at Fisher.

Education:

I graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics. I earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (at Northwestern University).  Finally, I have an advanced accounting certificate from the Santa Clara University.

Profession:

I am currently a general partner for a small private equity firm.  Before that I was the VP of finance at several companies in high tech.  I also spent several years as a management consultant, working with large corporations to develop growth strategies.

Community Service:

Since before my children started school, I have been an active volunteer from the classroom to the board level.  I was Treasurer and then President of LGEF for two years, helping set a fundraising record in 2012. I have served on LGUSD's Financial Advisory Committee (FAC) for eight years, chairing it for the four years. I helped lead the Measure B committee, renewing the current parcel tax, and also volunteering on other bond and parcel tax campaigns for LGUSD and LGSUHSD.  I have been a room parent eight different times, and was chosen as LGUSD’s Volunteer of the Year award in 2013.  I am also currently the Treasurer of the Los Gatos Rotary Club, serving on the board since 2015.
