LGUSD Facilities Master Plan 2024
Community Engagement |
|
LGUSD values the support of our community as we work together to improve student achievement and high-quality learning. To address the facilities needs facing our schools, LGUSD conducted surveys, held several meetings, and hired a well-respected school architecture, design, and planning expert, to assess the condition of every school campus. They synthesized the community input data to provide a long-term facilities master plan for our five schools. |

Priority Areas |
|
At LGUSD, we provide students with rigorous academics in an enriched, well-rounded learning environment. However, our facilities and classrooms are not keeping pace with the instructional programs. Three priority areas were identified in the extensive stakeholder input process: • Safety & Security - Campus security needs updating for student and staff safety. • Renovation - Replace HVAC systems for eco-efficiency. Classroom upgrades are needed for STEAM, music, and art. • Learning Spaces - New classrooms are needed to house Universal Pre-kindergarten. |
