Family:
My wife Allison and I were drawn to Los Gatos by its small-town feel and by the highly rated schools of the Los Gatos Union School District. Our three children were raised here from infancy through college graduation; we experienced Van Meter and Fisher along the way.

Education:
I hold a B.S. in Electronic Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science from Cal Poly SLO, attaining membership in Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor societies. Early education was in the public schools of Crescent City, CA.

Profession:
While a grad student at Cal Poly, I taught beginning computer science courses in the CS department. My engineering career has been in the computer industry in Silicon Valley. I am a senior software engineer at NetApp, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, with previous experience at companies now known as Unisys, HP, and Apple.

Community Service:
I served on the Board of Trustees of the LGUSD from 1990-2000. I was the Advancement Chairman of Los Gatos Boy Scout Troop 539 from 2008-2011. I am currently on the board of a private education institute in Berkeley, CA, and have been the organist and a vocal musician at my church for more than 20 years.
