Q: How do I get my CAASPP (TOMS) login?
A: The login process is initiated by the District Office. All teachers in grades 3 - 8 will receive an email from [email protected]. This email contains a temporary password for teachers to login to their TOMS Account. Carefully follow the directions within that email to activate your login.
In addition, any NEW teacher should receive an email from [email protected] This email contains a temporary password for teachers to login to their Digital Library Account. Please reset your password to the same password you used for the TOMS system. Carefully follow the directions within that email to activate your login.
Helpful hints:
- ACTIVATE your password as soon as possible
- For best results, copy and paste the temporary password (sent to you in the email) into the field when prompted
- Answer the test security question and remember your response
- Logins and/or passwords CAN NOT be initiated or reset on the day of testing
- Practice logging in multiple times before the first day of testing.
- Do not begin the SUMMATIVE Assessment with students until your assigned testing day.
Q: I received my login information, activated my login by changing the temporary password, then forgot my new password or it is just not working. What do I do?
A:
- For TOMS - go to https://caaspp.ets.org/ and click [Forgot Your Password]. If this process does not work, email Arcia to ask for a reset of your password.
- For Digital Library - go to https://www.smarterbalancedlibrary.org/ and click [Forgot Your Password]. If this process does not work, email Arcia to ask for a reset of your password.
Q: Why do I need a Digital Library Account
A: Teachers have been assigned Digital Library Accounts so they can run reports for the Interim Assessment Blocks to view student results. After receiving the email containing the temporary password from the Digital Library, please reset your password to the same password you used for the TOMS system.
